I wouldn't have replied to this garbage write-up from those whose
stock in trade is merchandizing APC Enugu State in every general election season but this reply is to stop those who have been bittered and unrepentant since the duo of Chief Uche Nnaji Nwakabie and Hon Ugochukwu Agballah has changed the wheel of dysfunctional APC Enugu State to a prosperous APC where members can boast of federal jobs, federal appointments, infrastructural and human development from deceiving the unsuspecting individuals.
We are not surprised to read the statements of people who want to reap from what they did not sow, the drowning horses who are applauding Peter Mbah who used state mercenaries to stop the bio methanol production plants which is an infrastructural project from the federal government is also looking for an appointment from the same federal government.
General Okroagu and Eugen Odoh should keep enjoying the profit of their respective supports to PDP in the 2023 general election and leave Governor Hope Uzodimma, who is busy working round the clock to deliver political dividends in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda, to the good people of Imo State, South East, and Nigeria in general.
It's now evident that it's quite becoming very common to lie in Enugu State because we have political leaders who are so blessed in lying.
At a point in Enugu, there were lies that water is everywhere because Governor Mbah promised water in Enugu within 180 days, but even after almost 2 years, water is yet to reach 12% of the entire city, including areas such as GRA, Independence Layout, Liberty Estate, and so on. Even in the few areas where it can be seen, it will stay 3 weeks, and there is no water, which implies inconsistency in delivery.
Governor Mbah once claimed to have attracted foreign investors into Nigeria after a series of acclaimed meetings abroad in countries such as China, India, and Japan, but all seems to be lies because Enugu is still speaking English while Abia is filled with investors.
The issue of the smart school is another well-packaged lie that will defeat any imagination. It is regarded as the signature work of the government, but only the one in his hometown OWO is functional to date despite the lies that over 160 have been completed and am still wondering what is smart about the only working smart school that serves as a litmus test for the uncompleted ones,
The same also goes for type C health centres with all the media hype.
Another lie was the reconstruction of 71 urban roads in 2024. Statistically, only 22 were touched with 8 yet to be finished, and the state government still claims it is 72.
What about the new minimum wage? Another lie is that only 50,000 were added, with workers in state-owned tertiary institutions not paid to date. What one would ask is, where goes all the money put into education that is over 320bn?
What about the issue of road resurfacing called reconstruction? Any sane person knows that the two are not the same, but Mbah wants us to believe that he is doing what he has not done.
Another lie is the issue of budget surplus, which was about 154bn. How can a state that kills people with taxation claim it has a budget deficit even when it borrowed over 150bn on loan when it assumed office?
A government that lied that it was cutting down trees at ESBS only to convert the land to an estate and sell it to some of his cronies.
