Senator Kelvin Chizoba Chukwu Strongly Condemns the Brutal Attack in Eha-Amufu, Isi-Uzo LGA I am deeply outraged and heartbroken by the horrific attacks that took place on Sunday, June 16, 2025, in Aguamede community, Eha-Amufu, in Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State.  Reports indicate that suspected Fulani herdsmen unleashed a brutal and inhumane assault, killing about ten innocent citizens, with some sources reporting higher number of fatalities.  The victims, whom were unarmed and defenseless, suffered gruesome machete wounds to their skulls and bodies—a level of savagery that must not be ignored or tolerated. This attack is not just a tragedy for the affected families and community; it is a stain on our collective conscience and a grave threat to the peace and security of our senatorial district and state. Even more disturbing are allegations that a helicopter was seen hovering around the area shortly before the attack, suggesting a level of coordinati...

APC Enugu State Refutes Arthur Eze’s Claims on Tinubu’s Endorsement of Governor Peter Mbah

Image
The All Progressives Congress (APC), Enugu State Chapter, has described as misleading and completely baseless the recent statement by Anambra-born businessman, Prince Arthur Eze, claiming that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has endorsed Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State for a second term in office. In a strong rebuttal issued on Friday by Mr Titus Ezeagu the Publicity Secretary of the party in Enugu State, the APC dismissed Eze’s claims as “personal opinion driven by self interest rather than political reality.” “Prince Arthur Eze is not a member of the APC. He is neither a spokesperson for President Tinubu nor has he ever played any official role in the President’s campaign or administration,” the statement read. The party reiterated that Arthur Eze Has No Mandate whatsoever to Speak on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.  The party emphasized that Arthur Eze is not a member of  the APC, and did not support the candidacy of President Tinubu. In fact, prior and du...

Water Scarcity in Enugu State. What government is not doing well.

Image
Water Scarcity in Enugu State. What government is not doing well. It is surprising to find out that Ndi Enugu is still suffering from water Scarcity. The current administration had given a 180day timeline from the date of it's inauguration to address the above. They could not keep the promise because they thought everything is politics and that you can just talk anyhow. Some promises have timelines and timelines evaluate the achievement or performance of a promise. PNM and his co-travellers and praise singers have run out of excuses. The people are suffering, some are wailing and others praying for divine intervention in 2027. A critical evaluation of the situation calls for policy actions as below: Government of Enugu State should stop flooding everywhere with pictures and videos and pursue a mix of the policies enunciated hereunder : 1. Actual Rehabilitation and Expansion of Water Infrastructure. Rehabilitate old waterworks like Ajali and Oji River water schemes. Expa...
